Think of her as a sous chef for your whole table. She plans dinner everyone will look forward to - built around your schedule and working in everyone's taste and dietary restrictions. That's the mental load of dinner, off your plate.

A few minutes to set up, once. After that, here's what an ordinary week looks like.

The cuisines you keep coming back to, who's eating, what's off the menu, and whether you cook most nights or batch a couple of big pots. A few minutes, and she keeps all of it.

Maui checks in before the weekend. Tap once and she lays the week out on your grid: when you cook, when leftovers carry you, and a dish for every meal. Every recipe comes from her own collection, chosen for the people you told her about.

Cook mode walks you through the session step by step, and when there is more than one dish it runs them together so the rice is on while the chicken marinates. The pot is sized to stretch over the nights in between.

Someone's suddenly off dairy, the cilantro went slimy, you're not in the mood for fish. Say it in chat and Maui swaps the dish or reworks the recipe, and shows you the change before anything moves.

Loved it, tweaked it, never again. Every rating sharpens her picks, so next week's plan tastes a little more like you.

Your week isn't fixed. It's a conversation. Maui makes the change, shows you first, and never rewrites anything without your OK.
Maui started as my own problem. My camera roll was full of saved recipes I never cooked, and every week of eating well fell apart by Wednesday. I didn't want an app full of numbers. I wanted a system that made good food the easy default, and kept it exciting.
So I'm building Maui: a kitchen companion that learns your taste, plans around your real week, and does the organizing for you. It's the app I always wished existed. I hope it makes your kitchen a little warmer too.
And yes, Maui is a real cat. She has three legs, strong opinions about the kitchen counter, and impeccable timing whenever dinner's ready.

Recipes, prototypes, and one very unimpressed cat.
